Rosalinda V. Garcia was called Home on September 23, 2023, at the age of 68. Rosalinda was born on January 20, 1955 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Juan and Eduarda Vara. Rosalinda loved life and spending time with her family… as long as it wasn't while she was watching her two favorite shows- General Hospital and RAW Wrestling! Rosalinda was a vivacious woman that loved her family and would go to the moon and back for those she loved.
Rosalinda is reunited in Heaven with her parents, son Nicholas H. Garcia Jr., and sister-in-law Raquel Vara. Rosalinda leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 40 years, Nicholas H. Garcia Sr.; daughter Lucia Alvarado (Rudy); son Lloyd Garcia; daughter-in-law Sandra Cordova Garcia; siblings Amanda Gonzales, Juan H. Vara, Jr., Jose H. Vara Sr., Federico H. Vara, Francisco H. Vara(Elizabeth), and Richard H. Vara; numerous grandchildren along with her beloved cats and dog.
Visitation will take place on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 4:30pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary to take place at 6:00pm. Family and friends will depart from Castillo Funeral Home at 9:30am for a 10:00am Funeral Mass on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at San Juan de los Lagos Catholic Church. Burial to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
