Rosaura S. Casares passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025 at home surrounded by the love and warmth of her children after 6 years of dialysis treatments
She was born in Vaquerillas, N.L. Mexico on September 16, 1937

Rosaura was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Isabel Sanchez and Tomas Zenteno, her husband, Santos Casares, and her daughter, Carmen Morales.

She is survived by her loving children: Maria Saldaña, Isabel Casares, Beatrice Garza, Santos Casares Jr., Andres Casares, Alicia Lopez, Rosaura Casares, and Yolanda Martinez. Rosaura also leaves behind a beautiful legacy of 28 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were the joy of her life.

She will always be remembered for her kind spirit, her love of cooking—especially her famous tamales—and her enjoyment of trips to the casino. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Funeral Services
A private viewing for family will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, after 3:00 p.m.
Public viewing will take place on Monday, August 25, 2025, beginning at 8:00 a.m., followed by funeral services at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place immediately after the service on the same day.

The family wishes to thank all who have offered prayers, support, and love during this time. Rosaura's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
