Rosemary Luna Love, 68, widow to Homer S Love, went to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, April 16, 2023, in her residence in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on March 2, 1955, in Corpus Christi, Texas, a daughter of the late Santos Perales Moreno and Ruby Luna Mata.
Rosemary attended Fox Tech High school and prior to retirement was employed by the City of San Antonio where she worked a receptionist position. In her free time, she loved to swim, listening to her favorite music, and was a fan of the San Antonio Spurs and the Tennessee Titans. Rosemary enjoyed places like the park where she could make memories and truly appreciate all this world had to offer. She was a woman of faith, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister who taught those she leaves behind to persevere. Until we meet again, she will be remembered forever by those who love her.
In addition to her husband Homer S Love, and parents, Santos Perales Moreno and Ruby Luna Mata, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Ruben Luna Moreno, Robert Arnold Moreno, Rubina Moreno Brown, Santos Moreno Jr, and Ricardo Luna Moreno.
Family members include a daughter and son in law, Magdalena Martinez and Miguel Lara Martinez; sons, Thomas Paul Gonzalez, Alexander Ernest Gonzalez, and Victor Gary Gonzalez; grandchildren, Marlene Rosemarie Nunez, Madalyn Guadalupe Martinez, Megan Josephine Martinez, and Jessalyn Mary Guajardo; a great grandchild, Layla Rose Nunez; siblings, Rita Tina Colman, Rachel Luna Sanchez, Rudy Luna Moreno, Ralph Luna Moreno, and Roy Michael Moreno; several nieces and nephews in addition to numerous extended family and friends.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, April 27, 2023, in Castillo Funeral Home for visitation from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and a prayer service will begin at 6:00 pm.
A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, April 28, 2023, in San Jose Burial Park at 10:30 am. Guests are invited to arrive at the funeral home no later than 10 am where a formal funeral procession will depart Castillo Funeral Home at 10:00 am for the cemetery.
