Rosendo P. Gonzales passed away peacefully at home on February 23, 2025.  He was 91 years old.
He was born in Nixon, Texas on October 14, 1933.  In the fall of 1953, he married Guadalupe L. Gonzales.  Together they raised three children and enjoyed a life full of adventure and love.

He worked at Gillespie Ford and Jennings Anderson Ford for over 30 years  He held the position of
Senior Automotive Technician.  He was responsible for addressing electrical, interior window installations and many more new car deficiencies.

Dad loved playing baseball and belonged to a baseball organization for Gillespie Ford.  He also played baseball with friends on Saturdays and Sundays.  He was a big fan of the Houston Astros.

Dad also loved the outdoors; always working on his 4 acres clearing unwanted trees and brush.
He loved listening to music, loved to dance and from time to time would sing to us.

Rosendo is preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Severa Gonzales, his son
Armando L. Gonzales and his great-granddaughter Zoe.

Rosendo was loved and will be missed by his wife of 71 years Guadalupe L. Gonzales, son Carlos Gonzales ( Yolanda ); daughter Maria Juanita Guzman ( Roger ); 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
