Ruben M. Castillo Jr went to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 2, 2025 at the age of 54. He peacefully passed away at home.

Ruben was born April 16,1970 in San Antonio, to Alma M. Castillo and Ruben Z. Castillo Sr. He is survived by his beloved wife Cassandra Castillo; his sister Monica M. Castillo (Dennis) brother Jesus M. Castillo (Angela ); his three children Ruby Ann Carrillo ( Eliseo Carrillo), Ruben Anthony Castillo III, and Rene Gilbert Castillo; Bonus children Samantha Elizalde(Charles) and Robert Elizalde (Shane); nieces Jacquelyn (Joshua), Eryn Nicole (Alex), Garrett, Rozelle, and Matthew; and his beloved grandchildren Jayden, Eli Matthew, Atticus, Amzie, Elliana, and little firecracker Adonis.

On April 4, 2009 he married the love of his life Cassandra L. Castillo. Ruben enjoyed listening to music,hunting, fishing and working in his yard. He was known to be a protector to all he loved and cared for and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Ruben devoted his life to being the best father he could be and a hardworking man who provided for his family no matter what it took.  His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy.
