Ruben Antonio Griego Jr. was unexpectedly called into the Lord's arms on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the young age of 25. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on July 6, 1997. Ruben was a graduate of Southwest Highschool and enjoyed living his life to the fullest. Spending time with his family was the most important- Ruben always called his parents to make plans for the weekend, which usually included spending time outdoors barbecuing and enjoying "beer time". He also loved cars- classic cars, racing cars, muscle cars, and of course trucks. Ruben was known for being a payaso around his family and friends. He loved to crack jokes and make people laugh, his laughter was infectious. Our hearts ache because you are gone; but your smile, your laugh, your kindness will always exist in our memories. Every time we catch a fish, or crack open a cold one, step out onto the dance floor, or laugh until our sides hurt, we will think of you. Ruben is reunited in Heaven with his cousin Jose Estrada. Ruben leaves behind his proud, loving parents Ruben Antonio Griego Sr. and Michelle Venegas; siblings Kassandra Griego, Sebastian Griego, Chappie Griego, Henry Griego, Klaryssa Griego; his one and only love Madison Buckaloo; lots of nieces, nephews, extended family and numerous friends. Visitation will take place on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 4pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary to begin at 6:00pm. Family and friends will meet at Castillo on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 9:00am to prepare to depart in procession for an 11:00am Funeral Mass at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Burial to follow at San Jose Burial Park.
