Ruben E. Morales went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2022, at the age of 55.

Ruben was born on January 24, 1967, in San Antonio, Texas to his late Mike Morales and Rosalinda C. Montoya. He and his wife Maria E. Morales shared a thirty-two-year adventure and marriage full of love and fond memories. He was the proud father of four children, his two daughters, Lorraine and Stacy, and two sons, Ray and Jason. Ruben enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; great conversations, making someone smile, and feeling hopeful for the future of those he knew and loved.

He worked at Bordens in Austin Texas as a maintenance manager. Ruben was truly special and as a jack of all trades could really master any task in life that came his way. He kept those who knew him fed with his incredible cooking. An artist, he leaves behind countless pieces of art that we will treasure forever. Not much besides family would make him happier then when he was out in the road on his motorcycle.

He inspired those around him to be better individuals. His capacity for generosity knew no bounds. He was someone who would help anyone in need with support, encouragement, and guidance. Ruben loved when family and friends would get together for holidays or to share stories and memories with his eight grandchildren. Those times exist in our memories and will be cherished forever. As the greatest role model we knew, he will be missed tremendously.

He is preceded in death by, Mike Morales, Rosalinda C. Montoya, and Miguel G. Morales..

He is survived by his spouse, Maria E. Morales; children, Ray Lopez, Lorraine L. Gonzalez (Ernesto), Jason E. Lopez, and Stacy R.A. Poplawski; grandchildren, Ylii E. Lopez, Wolfgang K. Lopez, Alyssa N. Lopez, Joaquin M. Gonzalez, Lucas S. Gonzalez, Roman A. Gonzalez, Jacob R. Poplawski, and Kyla H.M. Poplawski; in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
