With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Rudy M. Gibson on May 16,2026 at the age of 61.

Rudy was a devoted husband, loving stepfather, and a source of strength and kindness to everyone who knew him. Born on August 19, 1964, in San Antonio, he spent his life dedicated to his family, his work, and the people he cared about most.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Helen, along with stepson Steven Saenz (Elisa). He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse & Socorro Gibson and his brother Lionel Gibson. He leaves behind his brothers, Jesse M. Gibson Jr. (Sandra), Alfred G. Gibson, Michael A. Gibson (Mary Lou) along with his nieces and nephews.

A visitation/rosary will be held on May 29, 2026, at Castillo Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 pm.

Following the service, cremation will take place.
