Rudy proudly served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1974, Rudy led an adventurous life, spending nine fulfilling years in California. He maintained a strong work ethic as a truck driver for North American Transportation Services, providing for his family diligently. Beyond his professional life, Rudy found solace in the sandy beaches of California, fishing, music, and the TV show "M*A*S*H". He was a devoted father, a loving grandparent, and a caring great-grandparent.

Rudy is preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Luna Moreno; father, Santos 'P' Moreno; brothers, Ruben Luna Moreno, Robert Arnold Moreno, Santos Moreno Jr, and Ricardo Luna Moreno; sisters, Rosemary Luna Love and Rubina Moreno Brown; grandson, Robert Moreno; great-grandson, Ryan Rodriguez, and other great-grandchildren who departed too soon.

He leaves behind his daughter, Linda Moreno; sons, Rudy Moreno and Ruben Moreno; grandchildren, Angela Castro, David Villarreal Jr, Rudy Moreno, Pauline Moreno, Ariana Rodriguez, Matthew Gonzales, Gabriel Moreno, Deven Castillo, Hazel Zepeda, Christopher Moreno, Nathan Flores, and Brandon Flores; brothers, Ralph Luna Moreno and Roy Michael Moreno; sisters, Rita Tina Colman and Rachel Luna Sanchez; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family & friends.
