Salvador "Coach Sal" Galvan Ramirez, 44 years of age, was called home to be with our Lord on January, 19, 2020 in San Antonio, TX. He graduated in 1994 from The Pride of the West Side "Sidney Lanier Voks High School". He got his certification in Auto Body, and his license in Nursing. Sal had a talent for drawing and coaching football. He begun developing his skills for both at a very young age. He took pride in the experience he gained for coaching throughout his teens and early adulthood due to many of his successes. The most gratifying moments for him were all of the championships won while he was coaching the NAJIFF team whose mascot was the "Jr. Voks", the "Texans" and finally "The Southwest Indians" throughout the years, he coached and played semi-pro football. His passion for football evident in all of the lives he touched while coaching football and molding boys into young men.
He is survived by his senior high school sweetheart Frances Gonzales, together for 25 years, having four beautiful children; Miranda, Margarita, Bernard and Augustin Ramirez. Along with his three grand daughters: Beau Thalia Gamboa, Aveline Miari and Yaine Evangline Sanchez Ramirez.
