Samuel Sauceda Jr.

Samuel Sauceda Jr. passed away peacefully at 51 years old on September 9, 2021, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 25, 1970.

Sam attended trade school to major in automotive mechanics. He worked for Stewart & Stevenson-Kirby for 15 years and was devoted to his job. He treasured the beautiful memories he created with his family throughout his precious time on this earth. He was a huge fan of the GreenBay Packers and San Antonio Spurs. He enjoyed listening to rock and country music. His favorite artists included Metallica Garth brooks, and Tim McGraw.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Efran "Pito" Sauceda and father Samuel Sauceda Sr.

Sam is loved and will be missed dearly by his wife Lorena Moreno, mother Sylvia A. Deleon, sister Yvonne Sauceda-Rios, and brother Mark A. Sauceda. He is survived by his children Samuel Sauceda III, Meghan N. Sauceda, Brandy and Brittany Sauceda, also fathered and raised Valerie Shelton, Vanessa, Desiree, Destinee and Xavier Villarreal; 4 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Sam was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and a devoted friend. He touched the lives of so many and will forever be deeply missed.
