Sandra P. Amaya joined our Lord on January 18, 2020, surrounded by her family, at the age of 62. Sandra was born in San Antonio, Texas, on May 30, 1957. She resided in the Westside of town, and had a great love for her neighborhood. Sandra enjoyed hosting movie nights and parties for her family and friends, and spending time with her grandchildren, but most of all, she loved listening to rock n roll music. Sandra is preceded in death by her father, Manuel Padilla Jr.; grandmothers, Guadalupe Hernandez and Hilda Padilla, and grandfathers, Mariano Hernandez and Manuel Padilla. Sandra was loved and will be tremendously missed by her spouse, Santos Alvarado; mother, Eulalia Padilla; daughters, Melissa Amaya and Miranda Gallur and son in law, Rafael Gallur; grandchildren, Angel Amaya, Richard Gallur and Abigail Gallur; and extended family and friends. May she rest in peace.

The family will welcome friends at Castillo Mission Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Services under the direction of Castillo Mission Funeral Home.
