Santos L Perez Sr. passed away peacefully on January 28, 2022, surrounded by the warmth and love of his wife and children. He was 82 years old. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 4th 1939. Santos worked hard as a migrant worker, beginning at the young age of 5 until his late teens, when he met and married the love of his life Guadalupe J Perez. He worked various jobs until 1965, when he helped build L&M Steel Co. He continued to work hard there for 39 years to ensure the success of this company. Santos enjoyed fishing, music, hunting and making wonderful lasting memories with his family. He will be greatly missed.

Santos is preceded in death by his daughter Debra Rodriqez, Grandson Jose Luis Perez Jr, Granddaughter Veronica Ann Perez, and Grandson Esteban Palma III. He leaves behind his wife of 64 years Guadalupe J Perez; Daughter Elsie Martinez and husband Rogelio; Son Santos Perez Jr and wife Sylvia; Daughter Lydia Perez Palma; Daughter Corinne Perez and husband Jose Luis Sr; Son Jason Gary Perez; Brother Jose T Perez, Sister Lupe Centeno, 20 Grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He will be missed tremendously.
