Obituary

It is with heavy heart and great sadness to let you know that Santos V. Vera was called to be with the lord on August 20, 2020. Born in San Antonio, Tx on March 27, 1941 to George and Elvira Vogt. Santos was the third of five children. Santos V. Vera was married to her beloved husband Felix Vera Sr. for 60 years. They had eight amazing children, she loved every minute of being a stay-at-home mother, taking care of her huge family.

She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She had a love for her coffee and pan dulce, always had a warm pot ready to drink. Celebrating holidays was one of her favorite things to do. She loved having her family gather together and eat one of her many home cooked meals. She lived in the same place for 52 years, everyone knew were the Vera's lived. Her home was always open to anyone who needed words of wisdom or helping hand. We were blessed to have her in our family for 78 beautiful years. She is cherished by so many and will be greatly missed!
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Felix Vera Sr.; her parents George and Elvira Vogt; son's George V. Vera and Roy Vera Sr.; sisters Dora; Elida ; Nancy ; brother George Vogt Jr.
She is survived by her son's Felix Vera Jr.; Martin Vera(Norma); Fabian Vera(Janie); Tony Vera(Laura); Roy Vera Jr.(Briana);
daughter Jo Ann Vera; brother Jesse Aguirre(Yolanda); daughter-n-law Suzana;
34 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren family and friends.
