Our mother Sara Diaz Soto, 96 years of age, was called home to our Lord on Thursday, February 15, 2024. Our mother  was born on February 6, 1928
in Kenedy, Texas to the late Benjamin and Josefina Diaz. Our mother professed her life to Christ at a very early age. Our mother was one of three daughters, Ester Gomez, Lydia Garcia and four brothers Moises Diaz, Daniel Diaz, David Diaz and Samuel Diaz.  She is survived by her sons Alvaro Soto Jr., Javier E. Soto and Jaime A. Soto along with 6 Grandchildren, Angela R. Loy, Alvaro Soto III, Erica A.M. Soto, Jessica S. Soto, Madalynn Soto, Jacob Soto and Great grandchildren Alvaro J. Soto IV, Ezra L. Soto, Arya B. Soto, Makayla Loy, Jordan Loy, Sophia A.M. Corgill, Camden J. Corgill and many loving nieces and nephews.

Our mother Sara loved to read her bible, pray, and sing in the church choir. Sara loved attending church services and participating
in fellowship with friends and family.  As a military housewife, our mother traveled much of the western states and ensured her children
were involved in extracurricular school activities and active in church activities as well. Our mother enjoyed spending much time with her
family. Her Christian life was beautiful and her influence will remain in the lives of those who knew her.

Viewing will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Castillo Funeral Home 520 N. General McMullen, San Antonio Texas

Family and friends will meet at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd 78209 for a Graveside Service at Shelter #3 on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 10:30am.
