Sara Torres passed away peacefully on March 18, 2020, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was 83 years old. She was born in Kosciusko, Texas, on July 4, 1936.

Sara attended Lanier High School.
In the summer of 1956, she married Gregory C. Torres. She was a house wife most of her life. She treasured the beautiful memories she created with her family throughout her 83 years on this earth. Most precious to Sara was her family. She will be missed tremendously.

Sara is also preceded in death by her father, Juan Gonzales, mother, Carmen Gonzales, and sister, Lupe Cordova.

Sara is loved and will be missed by sons, Gregory Torres, Jr., Tomas Torres, daughter, Mary Helen Gonzales, 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
