Saul David Cruz-Torres passed away in the afternoon of August 13th, 2024. He was born December 17th, 1983, in the town of Bayamon Puerto Rico to Nydia Esther Cruz and Sigfredo Cruz. The youngest of 4 children and at the age of 3 they moved to San Antonio, Texas. Saul graduated proudly from John Jay High School in 2002.

Saul was one of a kind, loved his family. Spending time with his girlfriend and their spoiled rotten dog Sadie. Being outdoors and chilling with his friend's was a favorite of his as well.  He will be greatly missed by all who had the chance to know and to love him.  Saul had a big heart and a kind soul. Whenever you were with him you felt safe no matter what.

He was preceeded in death by his Grandmother Felicita Lopez Guzman, his Uncle Luis Aponte and his cousin Catherine Algarin.

Saul will forever be loved and dearly missed by his mother, Nydia Esther Cruz, his sister Doraliz Cruz and brothers Sigfredo Cruz and Manuel Alejandro Cruz also his loving girlfriend Antoinette "Toni" Zinsmeyer, aunts, uncles, many cousins, relatives and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday August 23rd at 7pm at the Marbach Christian Church  8023 Marbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78227.
