Obituary

The Moya family regrets to inform everyone that our beloved Selena Gabriella Moya (29) of San Antonio, TX, has passed on to the next life on January 19, 2025.

She was born on January 16, 1996. She lived her whole life in San Antonio where she was raised by her single father Gabriel Moya and then later on by her step mother Connie Torres. She always lived life to the fullest always smiling, laughing and being silly where she was the center of attention. She had such a big heart and would help just about anyone that needed it. She grew up in a lower class area but always strived to do better in life. Of course she ran in to some bumps along the road but being the strongest person that she was she kept on moving forward. She graduated high school and then went on to community college. She worked two jobs to make sure she could pay her bills. She was definitely a strong independent woman and wasn't afraid to show it. She will be missed dearly by many and never forgotten.

She is proceeded in death by her son Xzavier Cortez and her older sister Mandy Moya.

She is survived by her children Joe Angel Palacios Jr. Naveigah Cortez, Izeigah Cortez, Aleigah Moya, father Gabriel Moya and step mother Connie Torres, brothers Christopher Moya, Jacob Moya, sister Melissa Gauna, step brothers Phillip Reyes, Michael Reyes, step sister Laura Torres, nephews Christopher Moya Jr.,  Myles Moya and nieces Hailey Arce and Christiana Moya.

We will be receiving visitors on Monday February 17, 2025 from 4pm - 8pm with a rosary at 6pm. We will be departing at 9:15am on Tuesday for a graveside service at 10:00am at San Jose Burial Park.
