Serafin T Garcia was entered to eternal peace to be with his LORD and SAVIOR in heaven at the blessed age of 70 on December 30, 2020. Born August 6, 1950 to Serafin Garcia and Manuela T Garcia.
Reunited in heaven with his father( Serafin Garcia) mother (Manuela T Garcia), and sisters (Angie Ruiz/Josie Martinez)
Beloved and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother- n- law, uncle, and friend.
Born and lived in San Antonio, Texas. Serafin left high school at a young age to assist his family. He migrated until he mastered as a carpenter. A man of true integrity with a generous heart. He was a simple man who lived a simple life. Enjoyed to fish and hunt. Made time for family and loved visiting friends and neighbors. Known for his "big red" smile and loved to listen to all music including his favorites of old country music. Always said he was privilege to have had great people in his life. Leaves us with eternal great memories. Will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
Serafin is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Anna M Garcia; Daughters Belinda Martinez (ex-husband and father of son, Javi Martinez), Lydia G Solis (Eddie Solis); Sons Armando Garcia (mother of son, Cindi Chavez) and Andrew Garcia( ex-wife and mother of kids, Sherri Mesa); sister, Ida Flores; brother, Danny Garcia; 8 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandson and numerous nieces/nephews and extended family members and friends.
Services: Rosary will be held at Castillo Mission Funeral Home 520 N General McMullen Dr., San Antonio, Texas on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 6 pm. Procession will depart from the funeral home on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 10:00 am to graveside at San Fernando #3 located at 1735 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78226.
40 people are allowed in the Chapel at any given time. Masks are mandatory.
