With faith in the promise of the Resurrection, we announce the passing of Silvana “Brandy” Flores Delao, who entered eternal rest on July 14, 2026, at the age of 70.
Silvana was born on July 31, 1955, to Guadalupe and Victoria Flores, who welcomed her with love and raised her with strong family values and a caring heart. A devoted Catholic, Silvana lived her life with compassion, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. Her faith sustained her throughout life’s joys and challenges, and we take comfort in knowing she has been welcomed into the loving arms of our Lord and reunited with those who have gone before her.
Silvana was the beloved wife of Jeffrey L. Delao, with whom she shared more than 40 years. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Krystal A. Narbaiz, and a proud and loving grandmother to Justice G. Santos and Manuel “Alejandro” Guardado, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.
She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings: Artudo Flores (Lisa), Noemi Morales (Roland), Santina Saldana (Paul), and Angie Diaz, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were blessed by her kindness and generosity.
Silvana had a remarkable talent for oil painting and expressed herself beautifully through art. She loved shopping, enjoyed watching crime documentaries, and had a passion for photography and videography, preserving precious memories for those she loved.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Guadalupe and Victoria Flores; her brother, Mario Flores; and her grandson, Kaeden M. Santos.
Although our hearts grieve her passing, we rejoice in the hope of Christ’s promise of eternal life. Silvana’s legacy of love, faith, creativity, and devotion to her family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.”
— John 11:25
May the perpetual light shine upon her, and may she rest in the peace of Christ forever. Amen.
