He is survived by his wife of 55 years Margarita Cardenas; his  brother Eulalio Cardenas, his 3 children Simon Cardenas Jr (Sharon Cardenas),Veronica Presa (Pedro Presa), Maribel Cardenas; his 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his father Cresencio Cardenas, mother Salome Guajardo; his siblings Martin Cardenas, Benito Cardenas, Crisolfo Cardenas, Margarita Guerrero and Cresencio Cardenas.

Mr. Cardenas worked as a Butcher for 40 years.

He will be fondly remembered for being a loving, caring and devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a true friend to all. He will be severely missed by his family and friends.
