Socorro Guerrero Lopez, born March 31, 1927, passed away on August 30, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family.

Socorro was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Assistant Fire Chief Reyes Lopez; her infant son, Roland; her mother, Felicitas Guerrero; and her longtime friend, Marie Angelini. She also leaves behind fond memories of her loyal pet companion, Charlie the cockatiel.

She was the beloved mother of Lupe Lopez (Patrick Harvey), Reyes Lopez III (Rosa), Roy Roland Lopez (Elena), and Rene Roger Lopez (Lori).

Socorro was a cherished grandmother to Gina, Ana Lisa, Eric, Waverly, RogerRey, Matthew, John, Robert, and Stephanie. She also leaves behind 13 great-grandchildren.

Socorro enjoyed traveling and playing softball, as well as visiting casinos and bingo halls. She was also known for her award-winning ceramics.

Her life was a testament to faith, family, and resilience. She will be remembered with deep love by all who knew her.
