Stella Toney was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday May 4,2022 at the age of 76. She was born on October 27,1945 in San Antonio Tx; to Parents Roque & Alicia Castilleja. She is reunited in heaven with her parents and brother Roque Castilleja Jr. Stella graduated from Lanier High School in 1964. She enjoyed listening to her nephew Raul Torralva play his guitar and sing Spanish music to her. Vicente Fernandez was her favorite artist and she loved to sing along to his music. She also loved to play Loteria Mexican bingo with her sister Mary Alice, cousins Diana, Mary Lou, and Tia Sylvia. The Chalupa card was her favorite bingo card.

Stella leaves her legacy in the hearts of her beloved husband of 21 years Leslie Toney; sons Daniel Lopez Jr. and Rene J. Lopez; 3 step-children Diana, Nancy, and Anthony Toney; special grand and god daughter Kayla Castro; sister Mary Alice Jimenez; brothers Mario Castilleja, Eddie Vargas Jr., George Vargas, and Jose Luis Vargas; Aunt Sylvia Torralva; special cousins Diana Almaguer and Mary Lou Georges; special nephews Raul Torralva Jr. and David Moreno; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends. Stella is loved and will live forever in our hearts.

Visitation will take place on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 3:30pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00pm. Family and friends will depart Castillo Funeral Home at 9:30am on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 for a 10:00am Mass at St. Jude Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
