Susie Vasquez Quintanilla, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 56. She was born on December 30, 1967, in San Antonio, TX, to Alfredo and Beatrice Vasquez.

Susie had a deep passion for music, and her favorite bands and musical artists included Little Joe. However, her true joy in life came from her family. She cherished her 35-year marriage to her loving husband, Robert Quintanilla Sr.

Together, Susie and Robert raised Three children, Scott (Irene) Bosman, Robert V (Justine) Quintanilla Jr and Brianna Selena Quintanilla. Their family grew even more with the arrival of their grandchildren: Justin Bosman, Timothy Bosman, Nathaniel Bosman, Arleigh Rosales, Audrey Rosales, Beatrix Quintanilla, and Jaydine Quintanilla.

Susie also had a close bond with her siblings: Gloria Yanez, Janie Vasquez, Terry (Roy) Contreras, Lupe Vasquez, and Freddy Vasquez Jr. She adored her parents, Alfredo and Beatrice Vasquez, and was a source of love and support for all her nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In her spare time, Susie enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, and visiting the casino. These were moments of relaxation and joy for her, where she could unwind and create beautiful memories.

Susie Vasquez Quintanilla will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her kind and caring nature, along with her unwavering love for her family, will forever remain in their hearts.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m to 8 p.m. at Castillo Funeral Home, with the Rosary for the Susie at 6:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday April 23, 2024. Departure from Castillo Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Mass to be held at San Martin de Porres at 10:00 a.m Interment San Fernando Cemetery III.
