Obituary

Sylvia Ann Navarro, 68, went into eternal rest November 11th, 2025. She was born on April 13th, 1957, in San Antonio, Texas, to her mother, Agnes Ayala, and her father, Ramiro Ayala, who preceded her in death. Sylvia grew up alongside her siblings Manuel Ayala, Ernest Ayala, Barbara Ayala-Lopez, and Ramiro Ayala Jr. (Appie), who also preceded her in death. She was dearly loved by many nieces and nephews, as well as numerous brother and sister-in-laws. Each of whom she cherished deeply.

She is survived by her husband, Alfred Navarro, and by her beloved children, Sara Navarro and Jared Navarro, who were the pride and joy of her life. She was a devoted grandmother to Mila Davila, whose presence brought light and happiness into her days.
Sylvia dedicated over 20 years of service to USAA, where her kindness, creativity, and warm spirit touched countless colleagues. She was an artist at heart—always creating, imagining, and bringing beauty to the world around her. Her lifelong love of 1970s disco reflected her joyful, vibrant personality and the fun she carried into every chapter of her life.

Sylvia passed from this world to be with the Lord, and her family finds comfort knowing she is now held in His eternal peace, reunited with her father Ramiro and her sibling Ramiro Ayala Jr. May she rest in the eternal light of the Lord.
