Obituary of Sylvia Martha Ramos Rico

It is with deep love and profound sadness that the family of Sylvia Martha Ramos Rico of San
Antonio, Texas announces her passing on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Sylvia departed this life
surrounded by the love of her family after a lifetime devoted to faith, kindness, and family.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Eliseo G. Rico, and their beloved
children:
Eliseo Rico III and wife Lucinda Rico,
Robert Rico and wife Lauren Rico,
Helen Margie Ramirez and husband Miguel Ramirez III,
Luis Rico and wife Elizabeth Rico,
Maryann Rico and husband Manuel Reyes, and
Rene Cantu.

Sylvia's greatest joy in life was her family, and her legacy continues through her cherished
grandchildren:
Eliseo Marcel Rico IV, Andres Mariano Rico, Cristian Tomas Rico, Elena Raelynn Rico,
Robert Alejandro Rico, Alyssa Sylvia Rico, Gabriella Alicia Rico, Tyler Michael Rico, Isabella
Rico Ramirez Valdez, Lilliana Ramirez, Julianna Ramirez, Louis Rico, Allyson Rico, Bethany
Rico, Manuel E. Reyes, Mia E. Reyes, and Madelyn E. Reyes.

She was also blessed with great-grandchildren who brought her immense happiness: Logan,
Nikolai, Scarlett, Mason, Mavis, Emmett, Clover, and Zelda.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Margarita Ramos and Benceslao Ramos,
her beloved son, Antonio Rico, and her grandson, Jonathan Anthony Rico. She is survived by
her two sisters, Blanca Ramos and Angie Ramos, who will forever cherish her memory.

Sylvia Martha Ramos Rico will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, and unwavering
devotion to those she loved. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother
whose presence filled every room with love and grace. Her laughter, faith, and spirit will live
on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

In accordance with her wishes, Sylvia was cremated, and no formal services will be held. A
memorial gathering to celebrate her life will be announced by the family at a later date.
