Sylvia Trevino born in San Antonio, TX on July 10, 1960, passed away peacefully surrounded by those she loved most on January 31, 2024, at the age of 63.

Our mother was the heart and center of our family and will forever be missed. Her happiest times were the simplest of times that we spent together as a family. It included Sunday barbeques sitting outside on the lanai as our mother would call it and listen to music watching our father sing songs to her and get up for the occasional dance. Family conversations around the dining room table laughing, cracking jokes, and just enjoying life. Shopping trips, lunches and watching movies with her daughters and weekend getaways to Corpus with our father. She will always and forever be our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her father, Berardo Rodriguez and mother, Jesusa Rodriguez.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years and forever sweetheart, David Trevino. Three daughters, Dawn Trevino Felan, (husband Richard), Valerie Trevino, and Sabrina Avalos, (husband Freddy) and 12 adoring grandchildren Kayla, Richard, Juliana, Allison, A.C, Aubrey, Anthony, Abraham, Alyssa, Vanessa, Lea and Mia and great granddaughter Ariana. Her 5 sisters, brother in laws and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive guests at Castillo Funeral Home on Sunday, February 11, 2024, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm for visitation and at 6:00pm for the rosary service.

A funeral mass will be conducted on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 10:30am at St. Jude Catholic Church. Burial will follow with a graveside service held at Mission Park South Cemetery.
