Teresa G.
Aleman
October 15, 1929 – November 22, 2025
Teresa G. Aleman, age 96, entered eternal rest and into the loving arms of our Lord, surrounded by the family who cherished her beyond measure. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and woman of deep and unwavering faith, Teresa lived a long and beautiful life filled with love, strength, and grace. She had a great love for our Lord Jesus Christ, and her faith guided every step of her life.
For seventy-four beautiful, blessed years, she shared her life with her beloved husband, Alejandro. Their marriage was a true testament to loyalty and devotion - built on faith, respect and a bond that endured through every season of life. Together, they raised a close, loving family that meant everything to her.
She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Alejandro, her four children, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, her beloved nieces and nephew and her cherished cousins, all of whom carry forward her values, her strength, and her beautiful spirit.
Teresa was known for her warmth, her soft-spoken wisdom, and her comforting presence. She also had a playful streak, and a favorite saying her family will always cherish – "bad girl" – a phrase that never failed to bring laughter and highlight her fun and mischievous side.
Teresa created a home filled with love and a true sense of belonging for all who walked through her door. Her legacy lives on in the lives she shaped and the hearts she touched.
The family invites everyone to join in a celebration of life honoring Teresa's beautiful spirit. Guests are welcome to come colorfully dressed - pink was her favorite color and a reflection of the joy she brought into the world.
A visitation or rosary will not be held at Castillo Funeral Home. The family will be holding a church service at Mission San Jose, at 11:00 A.M., followed by her final resting place at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:00 P.M.
Due to Ft. Sam protocol, floral arrangements cannot be accepted. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to bring a Christmas Ornament in Teresa's honor. Christmas was dear to her heart, as she deeply treasured the meaning of the season and sacred celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior.
These ornaments will be placed on a Christmas tree at the service - a lasting reminder of Teresa's love, her devotion to Christ, and the joy she shared with all who knew her. The ornaments will be cherished for years to come.
