Teresa Gil
Flores
December 23, 1937 – August 9, 2025
In Loving Memory of Teresa Flores
On August 9, 2025, Teresa Flores, a woman of remarkable faith and strength, was called home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family's love. Her life was a testament to unwavering belief, deep love, and a willingness to speak the truth. These qualities shaped and strengthened all who knew her.
One of ten siblings, Teresa experienced both the joy and the heartache of family bonds. She is preceded in death by seven of her brothers and sisters, and is survived by three, whose presence she cherished and whose love she held close. She is survived by four loving daughters, one son and their spouses: Mamie & Bobby Casteneda; Lupe & Albert Hernandez; Ignacio & Rose Ramos Jr.; Faye & Anthony Agnew and Julie and Robert Sanchez. Teresa was blessed to live a long and full life, cherishing the joy of not only many grandchildren, but also great-grandchildren and even great-great-grandchildren.
Born on December 23, 1937, Teresa lived her life with resilience, grace, and conviction. She had a rare ability to share her heart openly, whether through tender words or honest truths, always with the intention of caring deeply for those around her.
Those blessed to have known Teresa will remember her as a woman who stood unshakable in her faith, prayed with devotion, and loved fiercely. She leaves behind a legacy that reminds us love can be both gentle and strong. Her favorite verse, John 3:16, was a constant source of comfort and hope in her life: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." She carried these words in her heart and shared them freely, offering them as a gift of encouragement to others.
Though she has left this world, the faith she lived by, the lessons she taught, and the love she gave will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
