Teresa Ann Moreno, "Coach T," age 48, went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2023. She was born on April 30, 1975, in San Antonio, Texas. She is reunited in Heaven with her mother, Elvira A. Moreno, and her brother, Joe Julian Moreno.

Teresa is a proud graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, class of 1993. She enjoyed a long career with USAA from 2003-2023. Prior to 2003, she worked at AT&T. Teresa obtained her bachelor's degree in December of 2019 from Wayland Baptist University. A pillar of her community, she served as a school board member for EISD and was involved with the ACTS Team at St John Berchmans Catholic Church. Affectionately known by many as "Coach T," Teresa empowered those under her direction to follow their dreams and step into their own greatness, just as she had done herself. She helped individuals to excel in both their athletic abilities and character, through coaching for various sports organizations, such as the Jr Rockets, Spurs League, and the SAPD Pals League. As a coach, she took an enthusiastic and supportive approach. She loved sports, especially basketball and volleyball, and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She passionately enjoyed dancing, cooking, fishing, camping, traveling and long drives in her jeep "La Blue Eyes." She especially loved her family and the Lord. A daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, who will be remembered forever by all those who knew her.

She is survived by her Father, Arturo M. Moreno, her children, Jesse Martinez Jr (Linai), Emily Nicole Najera (Juan), Elizabeth Marie Martinez, and Ericka Michelle Martinez (Rafael); grandchildren, Josiah, Elliana, and Mia; siblings, Arthur Moreno (Theresa), Xavier Moreno (Vanessa), and Moses Moreno (Cindy); nieces, Brittney and Eliya; nephews, Elijah, Gabriel, and Luke.

The family will receive guests at Castillo Funeral Home for Visitation on Monday, May 22, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and a Rosary Service will begin at 6:00 pm.

A funeral mass will be conducted on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, in St. John Berchmans Catholic Church at 10:30 am with burial to follow at San Jose Burial Park.
