Teresa Parra Villanueva passed away peacefully on October 04, 2024, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family at the age of 89. Teresa was born in New Braunfels, TX, on October 15, 1934, to her parents, Galdina Villanueva and Theodore Parra. Teresa was a woman who managed her family's home and served her community as a proud member of the Guadalupanas of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She enjoyed volunteering at the church and school and helped the less fortunate through the St. Vincent De Paul Society weekly. She later became a CNA at Morning Side Manor and continued with her passion for helping and serving others. Teresa is survived by her husband of 52 years, Pedro Villanueva; sons, Arturo Rodriguez and Roberto Parra Villanueva; daughter-in-law, Luciana Villanueva; grandchildren, Monica Marie Desoto, Doroteo Joe Desoto V, Johanna Marie Villanueva, Roberto Parra Villanueva Jr., Romano Antonio Villanueva; and great-grandchildren, Mario Angelino Desoto, Doroteo Joe Desoto VI, Ivory Angel Desoto, and Eva Lynne Harris. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Galdina Villanueva and Theodore Parra; brothers, Fernando Parra, Emilio Parra, and Theodore Parra Jr.; and sister, Aurelia Parra; as well as her daughters, Irma Rodriguez and Norma Desoto; and granddaughter, Angel Desoto. Teresa Parra Villanueva was the heart and soul of The Villanueva Household. We will always carry your memory in our hearts. A true angel you are. Rest in peace, my love.

Visitation to take place on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m. Family and friends will depart in procession at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024, for a 10:30 a.m. Mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
