Ozuna
November 9, 1937 – March 29, 2026
Theodore E. Ozuna, beloved son, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to all the lives he touched, was called home to be with the Lord on March 29, 2026 at age 88. Born on November 9, 1937 to George G. Ozuna, Sr and Estella Graciano Ozuna. Ted Ozuna was a lifelong resident of San Antonio, Texas. He attended local schools, including Fox Tech High School Class of 1956 and San Antonio College. Ozuna served in the US Army and Army reserves for 27 years, including the 410th and 321st Civil Affairs Group under the 90th ARCOM. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal and retired as a Master Sergeant. Ted was a Traffic Engineering Specialist with the Texas Department of Transportation retiring from TXDOT with over 44 years. He was active with the Tech High Class Of 1956 Alumni, St. Paul Catholic Church, Knights Of Columbus #7265. Ted was preceded in death by his parents, his brother George Ozuna, Jr., his sister Yolanda Ozuna Chavez, and loving wife of 65 years Sylvia Marie Ozuna. Ted is survived by his daughters Leticia Ozuna (Sophia Parafina) and Ramona Davila (John), sons Andrew Ozuna (Nancy) and Patrick Ozuna (Lisa), aunt-sister Carlotta Graciano Ochoa (Leo), eleven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Ted and Sylvia were awarded the "Lumin Gentium" by Archbishop Gustavo Garcia Siller in 2018 for their contributions to St. Paul Parish to bring Christ's light to all.
Services on April 22, 2026 begin with visitation at 9:30am, Rosary at 10:00am and Mass at 10:30am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 350 Sutton Dr., San Antonio, Texas 78228. Interment will follow with a procession departing after Mass en route to a 1:00pm burial at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
