Tina Grace Soto Rodriguez, 56, went to be with the Lord on December 9, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Port Isabel, Texas on November 26, 1967, and the only daughter of the late Asela DeLa Garza and Benito C. Soto.

Tina graduated from Port Isabel High School and was employed at Family Dollar. She was always known to be a dependable friend and a joy to all who knew her. As a mother and grandmother, she was the best anyone could ask for, always present and actively involved in her children's and grandchildren's lives. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family. She enjoyed going to the movies, shopping, hiking, fishing, BBQing and going out to eat with family and friends were times she could truly be happiest. Her time with us seemed all too brief and her passing leaves an unimaginable void. Together the family will continue on in honor of Tina and keep her memory alive each day until we all meet again.

In addition to her parents, Asela DeLa Garza and Benito C. Soto, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Benito C. Soto Jr; aunt, Mary Lou Kramer; cousins, Luis DeLa Garza and Felicia Ramos; uncles, Ciro DeLa Garza and Arnold Chapa; nephew, Armando Soto; and a niece, Monica Soto.

Family members include her four children, Naomi Rae (Gilbert) Bennett, Robert Anthony (Stephany) Samaniego, Eric Daniel (Karla) Samaniego and Sarah Alexia Lynn Rodriguez; three grandchildren, Aryana Graciela Marie Rocha, Aracely Susana Rocha and Rogelio Rocha Jr.; brothers, Joe Alex Soto and Richard Steve (Olga) Soto; sister-in-law, Rachel Soto; nine cousins, seven nieces, seven nephews, and numerous extended family members and friends.

The family will receive guests at Castillo Funeral Home on Friday, December 22, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm for visitation and at 6:00 pm when a Chapel Service will be conducted.
