March 21, 1935 – December 4, 2020
Tomas Buquor Placier was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 4, 2020 at the blessed age of 85. He was born March 21, 1935 in San Antonio, Texas. He was a Marine Corps Korean War Veteran, after his Marine years, he worked for Kelly Air Force Base 30 years. He loved fishing, hunting and spending time with family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboy and San Antonio Spurs.
He is preceded in death by his parents - Tomas H Placier, Susie Buquor Placier. Siblings – Mary Louise Burtner, Elizabeth Tucker, Bertha Andrade, Alfredito Placier.
He is loved and will be greatly missed by his wife Josie R. Placier, Children - Thomas Lee Placier (Sheila), Michael Placier and Robert Placier (Lisa Raynor), Grandchildren - Stephanie Richardson (John), Joshua Thomas Placier, Great grandchildren - Auston Abrego, Ethan Richardson and Zoe Richardson, Siblings - Elia Aguilar, Gloria Pagaza (Joe), Leroy Placier (Margie) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Special thank you to the VA Hospital for his care, and all family and friends for all the prayers.
Heaven has gained our most beloved blessing and will live forever in our hearts.
The Rosary and Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 Rosary at 10:30 a.m. with Mass following. St. Paul Catholic Church – 350 Sutton Dr. (corner of Sutton and St. Cloud) with a procession following for internment at San Fernando Cemetery II.
