Tony Lopez
Dominguez
February 14, 1950 – September 10, 2024
Our beloved Tony Lopez Dominguez entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at the age of seventy-four. Tony was born on February 14, 1950, to Alcadio and Lydia Dominguez in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from Brackenridge Highschool Tony joined the United States Army and proudly served as a Medic during the Vietnam War. After his discharge Tony attended San Antonio College and worked Security for Southwestern Bell Co. He also did computer tech for SAISD. In his free time Tony loved to fish and garden. He also enjoyed wrestling and watching Hallmark Movies. He was a man of faith and forgiveness, of compassion and love, and often tried to give back to the homeless struggling out on the streets. Tony was a loving Husband, a proud father and grandfather, and was delighted to become a great-grandfather.
He will be missed dearly by those who knew him with a legacy that proudly continues through the generations that follow. Tony is reunited in Heaven with his parents Alcadio and Lydia Dominguez, son Matthew A. Dominguez, sister Alice Hernandez, and brothers Armando Dominguez and Noel Dominguez. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Lucy M. Dominguez; son Michael Dominguez (Lauren); twin daughters Cassandra Dominguez and Nicole Rodriguez; grandchildren Izabella, Jenibel, Reign, Madalyn, Jacalyn, and Michael Jr.; great- grandchildren Rosalie and Joshua; sisters Alma Charo, Linda Ortiz, Martha Arollo, Thelma Sepulveda, and Lydia Dominguez; brothers Alcadio (John) Dominguez and Roy Dominguez; and numerous extended family and friends.
