Valeen "Lynnie" Joy Tellez

Valeen "Lynnie" Joy Tellez, 42, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on November 3, 2025. Born and raised in San Antonio, Lynnie lived her life with fire, laughter, and endless love. She was funny, cheerful, spontaneous, and full of sunshine — the kind of person who could light up any room she walked into.

Lynnie was a true badass with a heart of gold — selfless, admirable, and adventurous. She had a creative soul and loved drawing beautiful art that reflected the brightness and depth of who she was. She especially cherished spending time with her grandson, Ciel, who brought her so much joy. Whether she was enjoying the San Antonio nightlife or making her loved ones laugh with her famous "Ooooo wasssuupp" or "Bet" and "Whatttttttt," Lynnie always made every moment memorable.

She is preceded by death by her father Gregorio H. Galan

She is survived by her loving children, Ashlyn, Amber, and Zachary Tellez; her parents, Evangelina Galan; her siblings, Eve and Gregorio Galan jr and (Michelle Casarez); and her beloved grandson, Ciel Flores.

Lynnie held deep spiritual beliefs

and lived her life with strength, passion, and faith. She will forever be remembered for her big heart, her contagious laughter, and her fearless spirit.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 04:00 PM at Castillo Funeral Home in San Antonio, Texas. Family and friends are invited to come share memories and celebrate the beautiful life of Valeen "Lynnie" Joy Tellez.

Her light will never fade — it lives on in the hearts of everyone who loved her.
