Valerie Nieto Cisneros passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 46.

Valerie leaves behind her spouse of 18 years, Augustine Cisneros; her father, Daniel Guerra; her mother, Yolanda Nieto; her children, Jewbaliy D. Cisneros and Augustine Cisneros IV; son-in-law, Paul Navarez; granddaughters, Stella May Cisneros and Ruby Rose Cisneros; and her siblings, Gabriel Nieto, Marty Nieto, David Nieto, Mike Nieto, Danny Nieto, Iris Nieto, and Liz Nieto; in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Valerie was born on February 15, 1975, in San Antonio Texas. She grew up in San Antonio, attended college here then raised a beautiful family with Augie. In 2005 she started working for the City of San Antonio code enforcement department in which she spent 17 years with. Valerie was very intelligent, reading and understanding the U.S. Constitution was one of the many interests she had. Valerie found joy in the hobby of birdwatching and her passion for cats, and we will always be reminded of her by this. Valerie loved her family and especially loved the memories made together. Valerie brought immense joy to those around her. We loved her caring ways, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Castillo Mission Funeral Home from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church with services to conclude after the service.
