Vanessa was born November 27th 1982 in San Antonio, Texas to Elsa Oilar and Jesse Vuncannon. She graduated from John Jay High, attended North West Vista College and later Paul Mitchell Beauty College. Although Vanessa had many jobs and numerous talents her main and most enjoyed occupation was being a mother to her children, Auron Matthew Gomez, Arieah Nicole Gomez, Ariston James Gomez. She never missed an opportunity to volunteer for school events like dances fundraising field trips and more, or jump in the car and take the kids on a little spur of the moment road trips.

Everyday was an adventure with Vanessa in it. She was a wonderful wife, exceptional mother, loving daughter, caring sister, the best aunt and dear friend.

Vanessa is proceeded in death by her grandmother Eloisa Casias Moreno, her step father Steven Oilar and uncle James Vuncannon.

She is survived by her husband Armando Gomez Jr, son Auron Matthew Gomez, daughter Arieah Nicole Gomez, son Ariston James Gomez, mother Elsa Oilar, father Jesse Vuncannon, mother in law Juanita Gomez, sisters Gloria Yvette Hearn, Abigail Joy Oilar, Mary Rebecca Pulido , brothers Jesse Lee Vuncannon, Steven Ezekiel Oilar, sisters in law Christina Rodriguez, Amanda Chavez, Angela Gomez, Ashley Rodriguez  numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

She will be missed tremendously
