Vanessa Nichole Martinez Gonzales was called into the Lord's arms on Sunday May 21, 2023 at the young age of 26. Vanessa was born on April 24, 1997 in San Antonio, Texas to Adam and Mary Alice Martinez. She was a beautiful mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece, and cousin.

Vanessa was a 2015 graduate of Holmes High School and she took esthetician classes at Milan Institute. Vanessa loved cosmetology and doing makeup.

While we were not ready to let you go, we will cherish the memories we have made for the rest of our lives. She will live in our hearts forever. She is reunited in heaven with her grandmother Isabel Palacios and her grandfather Marcelino Martinez as well as other beloved family and friends.

She is loved and will be greatly missed by her children Julian Alexander Gonzales (5) and Josiah Adam Gonzales (3); husband Jason Gonzales; parents Adam & Mary Alice Martinez; siblings Adam Matthew Martinez (Genesis), Robyn Martinez, and Vincent Martinez; her nieces and nephews who she loved as her own children Genesis Ilyana and Arabella Genesis Martinez and Erick and Anthony Monsalve. She is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday June 6th, 2023 at Castillo Funeral Home from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a rosary to be recited at 6:00pm. Family and friends will meet at St. Dominic Catholic Church on Wednesday June 7th, 2023 at 10:00am for a Funeral Mass. Services will conclude after Mass on Wednesday.
