Veronica Ann Neira passed away on September 19, 2022 at the age of 42. She was born on December 1, 1979 in San Antonio, Texas to Cipriano and Socorro Neira.

Veronica was a kind and caring woman with a loud, joyous personality that always put her family first. She loved to dance (especially to Jenny Rivera) and cook. Veronica was an amazing grandmother; spending time with her grandchildren was always a priority. She was always ready to help, even those she barely knew. Veronica would give her last dollar to help if she could. Her warm, generous spirit always welcomed family and friends into her home where they could spend time and enjoy the delicious food she had cooked up. To her family she was home with all the love and comfort she gave. There will never be another woman in this world that could compare to our Matriarch, she will truly be missed.

Veronica is reunited in Heaven with her father Cipriano R. Neira Jr.; her sister Elizabeth Lee Neira, and brother Gilbert Hernandez. Veronica leaves behind a large and loving family, including her beloved husband Miguel Doblado; sons Jon Anthony Neira, Arnulfo Neira DeHoyos (fiancée Rosario), and Harley Neira DeHoyos; daughters Journie May Neira and Julydia Neira Doblado; siblings Tomasa Colorado, Leticia Neira, Albert Neira, and Cipriano Neira III; adopted nieces Desiree Neira and Destiny Neira; 6 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm with a Memorial Service to be held at 3:00pm. Services to conclude Saturday evening.
