Victor M. Vasquez  born on March 11, 1933 in San Antonio, TX was called home to be with our Lord on July 9, 2020 at the age of 87. He is reunited in heaven with his wife Lucy Vasquez, daughter: Jeannette Vasquez, son: Victor Casas  son in law: Martin Garcia and grandkids: Erica Anguiano, Bunnicula Vasquez and David Casas. He was survived by his granddaughter Bianka Luna and husband Jesus Luna, great grandkids: Jesse, Jayze, and Silas Luna, grandsons: Joseph Gomez and Alex Garcia, daughter: Melinda Vasquez-Hayes, sons: Richard Vasquez and Thomas Vasquez.

Victor was the 7th son born to Refuigo and Petra Vasquez.  He served in the United States Army. He was a Korean War veteran and Purple Heart recipient. He was a industrious, loving, and devoted father to his 5 children, a blessed grandfather to 15 and great grandfather to 30. He was compassionate, influential, wise and heroic. His smile was warm and radiant and his laughter was contagious. He was comical and enjoyed cracking jokes and making people laugh with his witty sense of humor. He lived life meaningful, joyous, and he impacted so many lives. He was the foundation of our family and always had everyones best interest at heart. Victor was loved tremendously and will be greatly missed by all of his family, extended family, and friends. His unconditional love and charismatic spirit will live on and remain in our hearts forever.
