Viola "Lolly" R. Casillas, 61, of San Antonio, passed away March 8, 2021, with family by her side.  She was born to the late Benny Rodriguez and Margarita H. Lopez January 1, 1960 in San Antonio.  She graduated from Harlandale High School in 1978.  She is survived by her husband Jose I. Casillas, her daughters Betty J. Padilla, her husband Javier, and Jamie A. Dominguez, her husband Joe, Benny Rodriguez, Jr. and her step children Jose I. Casillas, his wife Rabea, and Jeanine M. Garcia, her husband Eddie, and 7 grandchildren, by her step father William Lopez, her father-in-law Joe M. Casillas, her brother Pablo Rodriguez, his wife Yvonne, her maternal grandmother Dora Hernandez, sisters-in-law Barbara Elizondo, husband David, Geraldine Lee, husband Henry, Mary Jane Mitchel, and brother-in-law Gilbert Casillas along with several nieces, nephews and countless cherished friends. Viola is preceded in death by her parents Benny Rodriguez and Margarita H. Lopez, her brother Benny Rodriguez, her maternal grandfather Pablo Hernandez and her mother-in-law Mary Jane Casillas.

Viola had a warm, kind and generous spirit that made you feel like everything was going to be okay. She loved trips to the Gulf Coast and loved spending time with family and friends building a lifetime of fond memories. Funeral services will be held at Castillo Mission Funeral Home, 520 N. General McMullen Drive, on Wed, March 31, 2021 with the viewing from 3-7:30pm and Rosary at 6pm.  Mass will be held Thur, April 1, 2021 at 10am at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1214 Stonewall Street San Antonio, TX.  The burial will take place following the Mass at San Fernando Cemetary II, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX.
