Virginia "Masie" Castillo was born December 08, 1945. Virginia was called home on January 12, 2021 to be with our Lord. Growing up on the Westside of town, Virginia attended Lainer high school and enjoyed hanging out and dancing with her friends to Oldies like Little Richard and Fats Domino at "Esparza's," a corner store on Saunders and Brazos.  Virginia worked for Santa Rosa Hospital 5yrs and the University Hospital Brady Green Downtown over 20 yrs. Virginia was a mother, grand-mother, mother-in-law and a friend to many; she enjoyed working, watching sports, playing poker and Bingo. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel A. Munoz & Virginia R. Munoz; brothers, Gilbert, Louis, Manuel (Porky), and Crispin (Pina) Munoz. She is survived by her children, Rudy and David Castillo, JoAnn De La Torre (Manuel De La Torre Jr. spouse), Carlos, and Cynthia Gutierrez (Icesis J. Gutierrez), 13 grand-children, and 14 great-grandchildren. Virginia will be deeply missed but never will she be forgotten.
