She leaves behind to cherish in his memory her daughters, Gigi Lea Vidal and Jennifer Lea Sanchez (Rodolfo Sanchez). In addition to her granddaughters, Pennie Vidal and Lynnsie Vidal, her grandsons, Aaron Cross Sanchez-Vidal, Alec Vidal, Nicholas Cross Sanchez-Vidal, and Zachariah Vidal, her daughter-in-law, Maryann Vidal, her siblings, Joe Garay (Stella), David Garay (Joann). Hortencia Felan (Joe), Juan Garay (Sunny), and sister-in-law, Gloria Garay, and Vangie Vidal (wife of Andrew G. Vidal, Jr.).

Virginia was deeply loved and brought immense joy to those around her. We loved her sense of humor and her caring ways. She spent several years working for San Antonio ISD in addition to being a wife and mother. She loved her arts and crafts, shopping, and was a foodie; these are just a top few of many things Virginia will be remembered for. Virginia will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Words cannot express the feeling in our hearts. Thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time. Your shared memories, comforting condolences and gestures of love are truly appreciated.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Castillo Mission Funeral Home from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Paul
