Viviana Moreno
Saldivar
June 19, 1930 – April 11, 2025
Viviana Moreno Saldivar was 94 years old. She was born on June 19th, 1930. She lived at the Cheyenne Apartments for 20 years. We are truly grateful to her caregiver Maria who took such good care of her until her fall in late January. Mom never recovered from her fall and passed away on April 11th with her sons Richard and Albert by her side. She had three sons of her own but raised 7 boys. All boys.
A host of angels have preceded her to heaven. Her mother, Maria Moreno, father Jose Moreno, sister Teresa Aguirre, sister Susie Rodriguez, brother Mike Rabago, brother Amado Moreno, son Harold S. Davis II, daughter-in-law Sylvia V. Saldivar, sister-in-law Susie Moreno, stepsons Ronald, Donald, John and Keneth Davis. Husbands Richard G. Saldivar and Harold S. Davis I.
She is survived by her sons Richard M. Saldivar (Mari), and Albert M. Garcia (Donna). Her siblings Pedro Moreno and Paula Martinez. Her grandchildren, Anthony Saldivar (Mae), Cynthia Saldivar-Flores (Edgar), Armando Saldivar (Linda), Harold S. Davis III, Alexander Garcia (Kimberly), Rene Garcia and Cory Curie (Veronica). She has 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mom always kept busy as you can imagine she raised 7 boys and worked! Early on she was an elevator operator then worked at the Zarzamora produce terminal in the packing shed. It's there she met Harold S. Davis I. He called her Little Bit. As if 7 boys weren't enough, she became a school crossing guard. Boys had cereal for breakfast. She was also a seamstress at one point and ran a cleaning crew. They cleaned office buildings after hours. On the side she loved doing yard sales, selling this and that and the other. She served her church and community as a Guadalupana at San Juan de los Lagos. She and the ladies worked in the kitchen and on bread days giving out loves of bread. On some Sundays she would sell cakes infront of the church. She loved all her family and their events. She loved to dance. She taught her sons to dance so they could get good wives. She often went to hear her son, Albert, play and would get everyone up to join in. She loved coffee and going out to eat. And on the go momma, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend who will be sorely missed. The services are to be held:
