William Jefferson Cook was called home on Tuesday July 19, 2022 at the age of 73. William was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 28, 1948 to father William J. Cook and Vieva E. Cook. He was the only son with 4 sisters which made him their Bubba. William played football for Sul Ross University where his 6 foot 4 frame led him to excel in their athletic program. After college, William's passion for life lead him to serve the community as a police officer. Following in his father's footsteps, he began his second career as a custom home builder. Sharing a beautiful marriage to Amanda Settles Cook emblazoned William's entrepreneur side where together they opened several thriving restaurants.

William is preceded in death by his father William J. Cook, mother Vieva E. Cook, and son William J. Cook.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife Amanda Settles Cook; daughters Patricia Collins (Dale), Lillian Settles Sifuentes, Rosemary Alvarado, Mary Beth Topperwein, and Sara Vieva Cook; sons Joseph Jacob Sifuentes (Lucy) and Roland Sifuentes (Irene); 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters Paula Davis, Nancy Maurer, Jackie Shaw, and Deborah Cook and numerous nieces and nephews.

The world has lost a great son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
