Obituary

It is with profound sadness that the family of William Jackson Thomas announce his passing on Friday evening, November 11, 2022, at the tender age of 6 years old.

Bobo, an affectionate name given to him by his older sister Victoria, was born on September 13, 2016, in San Antonio Texas to Alexandria Sandoval Thomas and William Thomas who love him more than words can express. Bobo was intelligent, funny, and kind to anyone he encountered. Enrolled in kindergarten, attending Adams Elementary School he was an excellent student excelling in all subjects especially reading and writing. His gift of extraordinary knowledge was evident in his G.T. nomination that was due to be announced later this year. Known to all his family, friends, and teachers as an outgoing, bubbly, and energetic boy; he loved recess, going to P.E. and exploring his artistic talents in art class.

Bobo was a bright spark and was destined to be a huge personality, even though his time on earth was cut tragically short. He loved Mickey Mouse, Lion King, Paw Patrol, Super Mario Bros, Legos, Huggy Wuggy and so many other childhood characters. His hilarious love for the State Farm, Liberty Mutual Insurance commercials, and the 20 th Century Fox intro and logo are just one example of how Bobo could find an unrequited love for the simple pleasures of life. That gift is one remembered always; possessing something he will never lose, the quality of innocence.

Forever will he be remembered as the kindest, sweetest boy who gave the best hugs, had a smile that could light up a room and a contagious and infectious laugh. He truly loved everybody he encountered. His passing from this world to the next is one that can never fully be comprehended and its times such as this that one can only be thankful for the year's we had with him. His loss is unmeasurable; our time with him are moment's that exists now only in our memories but his legacy lives on though all who knew him. Until we meet again, one day Bobo, may he rest in peace and let the perpetual light shine upon him.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe Sandoval; grandfather, Guillermo Garcia; grandmother, Mary Carmen Hernandez; great grandmother, Timotea Solis; and great grandfather, Jack Thomas.

He is survived by his parents, Alexandria Sandoval Thomas and William A. Thomas; sister, Victoria Thomas; grandma, Sylvia Sandoval, Great Grandma, Carmen Thomas; great grandmother, Emma Hernandez; grandfather, John Hernandez; his dog Dixie; in addition to numerous extended family and friends.
