In Loving Memory of Willie
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Willie, a man whose warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Willie had a passion for life that was undeniable. For over 30 years, he dedicated himself to his work at Peñaloza & Sons as a jeweler. He was not just an employee but a valued friend and mentor to many. His strong work ethic and genuine camaraderie left an indelible mark on those he worked alongside.
Outside of work, Willie found pure joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fisherman, embracing the peace and excitement that came with every cast, finding solace in the stillness of the water and the thrill of the catch. His love for gambling was more than just a pastime—it was a testament to his bold spirit and belief in taking chances, always playing to win, no matter the stakes.
But above all else, Willie cherished his family. His greatest joy came from the time spent with loved ones, creating memories filled with laughter, heartfelt stories, and unforgettable moments.
Willie leaves behind his loving wife, Elizabeth Casillas, and his beloved children: Alice, Willie Jr., Michael, Brenda, Jesse, Gabriel, Lizzie and Ruben. He is also survived by his brother Raymond, and sisters Oralia and Alicia, along with his 12 cherished grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Willie is reunited in eternal peace with his beloved family who passed before him: his grandmother Georgia B DeLaGarza, grandfather Juan R. Alviar, mother Irene Casillas, brother Martin, sisters Irene and Leticia, nephew Daniel and his precious granddaughter Heavenly.
His absence will be deeply felt, but his legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His laughter, wisdom, and adventurous spirit will forever echo in the lives he touched.
Rest easy, Willie.
May the waters be calm, the odds forever in your favor, and your spirit continue to guide us with the same love and light you shared during your time here.
