Yolanda Aguirre, born January 25,1959 to Gumercinada Torres-Campos and Pascual Campos in San Antonio, Tx, passed away on February 23, 2021. She is reunited in heaven with her parents, her first son Ernesto Caballero, 4 sisters and 4 brothers. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Jesse Aguirre Jr; her children, Jesse lll (Toni Jean), Jason, David James, Jonathan Wife Evelyn, Jessica; granddaughters who she raised as her own, Destiny and Victoria, 13 additional grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 6 sisters, 4 brothers, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mom you will be missed tremendously. You were loving, caring, compassionate, had a heart made of gold, strong, funny and resilient. You were the matriarch of our family, who we adored. You always put others first and was truly the bond that held us all so close together. You love and cared for so many. You especially loved spending time with your husband, Kids, grandkids and great-grandkids; and was filled with happiness when we were all together. There wasn't anything Mom wouldn't do for our family. From the good times to most difficult times, she was there every moment to comfort and help us through anything. She would move heaven and earth to make sure we were taken care of. Holidays and family gatherings were very special, you always cooked a ton of food and welcomed everyone in your home. She owned La Bamba night club for 26 years and befriended so many over the years, with some becoming family. Anyone who ever visited La Bamba will remember her sitting in her favorite chair with her big beautiful smile, laughing and talking with patrons. The world has lost a beautiful soul and our family is devastated over this enormous loss. We have to endure the pain of going on without her, but we know she would want us to remain strong and continue loving one another just as she would. We will cherish the memories we have with her and she will forever remain in our heart.
