Yolanda F. Araiza entered eternal rest on January 8, 2021, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was 76 years old. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on December 17, 1944.

Yolanda worked at Santa Rosa Hospital as a Systems Analyst until she finally retired to take care of her loving mother. She treasured the beautiful memories she had with her as well as with her family throughout her 76 years on this earth. She was the most loving and giving person. She was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs. Most precious to Yolanda was her faith in God. She will be missed tremendously here on Earth.

Yolanda will be reunited in heaven with her mother, Francisca Araiza, her father Pablo Araiza, her brothers Alfredo (Chito) Araiza, Pablo Araiza Jr, and her sister, Rosemary Mercado.

Yolanda (Tia Nanny) is loved and will be missed beyond words by her siblings, Amelia Burciaga (Vicente), Anita Ayala (Aurelio), Paul F. Araiza (Luisa), Alicia Felan (Ruben), Corina Cabrera (Frank), and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 3pm until 7:30pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6pm. Family and friends will depart at 9am from Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Friday, January 22, 2021 for a 10am Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery II.
